The Nest mechanism opens in two manual steps. You set the loose back cushions aside, lift the front of the seat, walk it forward, and the back lays flat. No tools, no power cable, no spring assist you have to fight. The queen size also has a half-open option, letting you leave the back partially raised if you want to sit upright while the bed is extended. Plan for 84.75 inches of wall clearance.
Open, it yields a 60 by 80 inch queen bed. The mattress is a built-in 5-inch cold-cured high-density foam pad, CertiPUR certified and rated for daily use, not just occasional guests.
