The Belton Queen Power Sofa is 73.25 inches wide, the same footprint as the manual Belton Queen, but with a different relationship to opening the bed. If the person who uses this most often has mobility limitations or simply prefers not to do any lifting, the power version resolves that without changing anything about the design.
One button press, and the Level mechanism does the work. The seat lifts and the bed extends out from the wall in as little as 15 seconds: no hands, no sequence, no gas-spring effort required. You'll still set the back cushions aside before opening. After that, the wireless remote takes over. A wired remote is available as an upgrade if the wireless option doesn't suit the installation.
The bed is a 60 by 80 inch queen. Five inches of built-in cold-cured high-density foam, CertiPUR certified, rated Daily Sleeper. The seat foam is medium density, firm enough for sitting, supportive enough for genuine nightly sleep. Both functions are designed for sustained use, not occasional occupancy.
FSC and PEFC certified solid spruce frame with mortise-and-tenon joinery and birch plywood. Made in the EU, made to order, four to six weeks out. The upholstery catalog runs to over a hundred fabric and leather options.
Choose the Belton Power if accessibility or convenience at the press of a button matters more than price difference over the manual. Choose the Belton Queen manual if you're comfortable with the one-motion gas-spring lift and prefer a lighter piece (the power motor adds about 11 pounds). Both land in the same 73-inch frame with the same queen bed.
