Dimensions
Polar King is the largest frame in the Polar lineup, 83.25 inches wide with the same slim arms and round legs that define the collection. At 35.5 inches tall and 18 inches of seat height, it sits slightly more upright than a lot of sleeper sofas, closer to a proper lounge chair height than a sink-in sectional. The silhouette is clean; nothing about it reads as a sleeper until you need it to.
The Level mechanism opens in one step with gas-spring assist. Set the loose back cushions aside (it's light handling) and the seat lifts as the bed extends out from the wall. One motion, one setup step. Gas-spring assist means the opening is controlled; you're not fighting the weight of the frame. Plan for 89.75 inches of wall clearance when the bed is deployed. Power operation is manual.
The king bed is 76 by 80 inches, full two-adult width. Mattress is a five-inch cold-cured high-density foam pad, CertiPUR certified, rated Daily Sleeper. At 276 inches wide for two people, you have genuine sleeping room. No coil system, no innerspring, no separate mattress to store or rotate.
Frame is solid spruce with mortise-and-tenon joinery and birch plywood, FSC and PEFC certified. Made in Europe to order, four to six weeks. 100-plus upholstery options in fabric and leather.
Polar King works when you need king sleeping capacity and want a frame that looks like a sofa the rest of the time.
