The Fantasy Cot is 40.25 inches wide and 35 inches tall, a chair-scale frame with a cot-size bed hidden inside. Track arms and a 17.75-inch seat height give it a contemporary proportion; it doesn't look like a piece of utility furniture. A home office, a reading nook, a compact guest room: wherever space is genuinely tight, this is the chair that sleeps one adult on an 80-inch-long surface.
Fantasy's Level function is a single-motion, assisted-open mechanism with a soft close. One motion converts the sofa to the bed; the mechanism guides the bed down rather than letting it fall, and closes with the same controlled feel. For a solo guest at midnight, that matters more than it sounds. It's a manual operation, not powered. Plan for 89.75 inches of clearance from the wall when the bed is fully extended.
The cot bed is 30 by 80 inches: full adult length, single width. The mattress is CertiPUR-EU certified cold-cured high-resilience foam. Seat foam runs medium at 2.2 pounds per cubic foot, tightly upholstered. A cot chair sits on the same surface it sleeps on, so foam density matters twice: it needs to support a sitting person during the day and a sleeping person at night. Medium is the right density for both.
Frame: FSC-certified birch plywood and PEFC solid Nordic spruce. Designed in Finland, made in Europe. Back cushions are fiber-filled and loose, with 75 percent recycled fiber. Upholstery runs to over a hundred options: fabric grades A through E, leather grades 1000 through Prescott. Four to six weeks, made to order.
