Dolphin stands taller than most sleepers: high legs lift the frame off the floor and give the piece a lighter visual presence than the typical low-slung contemporary sofa. It's 88.5 inches wide with a finished storage box built under the seat, which is an unusual combination of design and utility in one frame.
The mechanism is Easy Deluxe, a two-step lift-and-fold. Set the loose back cushions aside, then lift the front of the seat while the bed unfolds in two motions. The key practical note here: the bed opens arm-to-arm rather than out from the wall. That means you need very little clearance behind the sofa (just 56 inches), which makes Dolphin viable in rooms where a wall-facing bed orientation would eat too much of the floor plan.
The bed is 55 inches wide by 80 inches long: a full XL. The 5-inch built-in mattress is CertiPUR cold-cured high-density foam. Dolphin is rated "Frequent Guest Use" rather than Daily Sleeper, which means it's well-suited for regular visitors but not the best choice if you need a daily bed for someone in the household. The under-seat storage is useful for extra bedding when the piece isn't in sleep mode.
Frame is solid spruce mortise-and-tenon with birch plywood, FSC-certified, made in the EU. Lead time is four to six weeks. Upholstery covers more than 100 fabric and leather options through your dealer.
Dolphin is the right call when you want a full XL sleeper with a high-leg look and a compact open footprint.
