Our Greencare collection showcases a diverse array of fabrics that are not only visually appealing and durable but also environmentally responsible. These fabrics are crafted from recycled fibers, either in part or entirely, reflecting our commitment to sustainability. A significant number of the fabrics in this collection are certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), which guarantees that they contain a minimum of 20% recycled materials. However, at Lauritzon, we have taken a bold step forward by increasing the minimum recycled content in our greencare fabrics to an impressive 50%. This is just the baseline, as many of our offerings are made entirely from recycled sources, including discarded clothing and marine plastic waste. For instance, to upholster a single sofa, approximately 170 plastic bottles are repurposed, transforming waste into beautiful, functional design.
